LOWER EAST SIDE — A man stabbed a homeless couple repeatedly Saturday night on the Two Bridges waterfront, police said.
The attacker walked up to the male and female victims, both 32, around 10 p.m. near South Street and Catherine Slip under the FDR Drive and stabbed them multiple times in the torso before fleeing westbound on Catherine Slip toward the Smith Houses, police said.
The couple was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition, according to authorities.
Their attacker was described as a man in his 20s, police said. No arrests had been made as of Monday morning.
